Super Safari

Well, apart from the bad weather (yes, it really IS August!) it's been a good week. I've been busy sewing and had some great orders in. I'm making fascinators for the USA, Australia and the UK at the moment. It's all great and my clients are being creative and great to work with which is really nice.

Took P and her friends to the Safari Park yesterday (friday) for some much needed fresh air and fun. I can't believe it's been 3 weeks already since the kids broke up and they are half way through their holidays. They all had such a great time and the weather held out for us so we were able to have our picnic on the grass and have a wander round after we'd seen the animals. I was really shocked to see a cheetah close up. They are so much furrier than I expected!!

P's been to a 5th birthday party today and as I'm in a crafty mood I made her friend some baby ladybird clips and a headband to match. The headband had a felt bug with Swarovski crystal spots and eyes. So cute! They were all put into one of my lovely pink boxes with pink tissue paper to keep them safe and wrapped in pink paper with white polka dots. So girly!

I'm still obsessed with my felt flowers. I've made a spring brooch and a white and grey oversized hairclip. You can see them here.

I've been wrapping headbands in ribbon this afternoon whilst catching up on Desperate Housewives. Now Im off out to see Mamma Mia for a good old bit of chick flick!

Have a good weekend,

N x
